anyone know what the score is with the flappits quarry nr bradistan?? never been but a few mates wanna head up there, all i see on the net is that its getting shut down but all that news is from 2009, and some vids on youtube were only posted last month???

Its still open, its ..... the flatpits quarry and its just outside Denbeigh near Halifax. I used to go alot many,many years ago. Given the choice though i'd go to Back Cowm Quarry near Rochdale Its were they held this years Tough One or better still come over to Bacup and say hello.

yeh wouldnt mind going to cowm, they don't really seem to like bikes there thow(except trials) more about the 4x4's. Am i right in thinking that they started an enduro practice day once a month or every few weeks recently?

It went a bit tits up at back cowm quarry when that young lad rode his ktm off the cliff ..... Its not healthy, he died. Not sure about the enduro practice so check their website if it still exists .... backcowmleisure.com
