The lowest 09 I've seen is for 2400 so 2600 - 2800 I didn't think was too steep for how clean mine is.

What Dad says goes. Wait 'til we get offered what he wants, he'll probs accept 2600/2700. It's just jokers offering 2200 where we'd have lost nearly 3k in the space of a year and a half that he doesn't want.

I've got a possible p/x lined up with a new yam from a local dealer who can get bikes from a certain well known team so we'll see how that goes

Oh and I've just been offered £2750 by another dealer against a genuine UK '11 YZF250 so don't see why I should sell it for £400 less than I could get from a dealer.

just out of interest, how much would a dealer ask for your bike?

if he pays you £2750 and youve been struggling to sell at £2800 on ebay... how is he going to make anything on it! i'd of thought a dealers offer would be about £2100-2400, so he has some margin for profit.

let us know what you do chris and how much you get.

ET James offered £2750 but he sells 2011 YZFs at 7k so works out most expensive.
One dealer is selling a '11 YZF for £5895, offered me £2600 so works out about a grand cheaper than ET.
Another dealer is selling a '11 YZF for £5795, offered me £2700 so works out cheapest option for me but they're 3 and a half hours away!
Got another one potentially lined up so we'll see what that deal works out at.

Dealers are selling 09 yams for £2999 - £3200, even seen one for £3500 the other day! You'd expect to get more from a private sale but for some reason it's just not like that at the moment.

don't forget christoph the 2011 bike will be a year old model in a couple of months time.
dealers are only offering you "good" money for yours so they can clear their old stock because the 2012's are here soon.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking mate. The sale of the '11 means more to them than my bike.

I don't want a 2012 anyway, it'll be full of radiation :P And the Yams will be FI and my dad's scared of electrics...and he's my only mechanic :(
