my 4 stroke 07 was £1750 and that was when i thought it needed no new bits but it needed chain and sprockets and grips and brake pads. so say £1850 ish

If you're new to the sport then I wouldn't suggest getting a 250 2 stroke...
Get either a 125 or a 150

i mean a 2005 cr250 for 2 grand. and an 08 rm250 for £2450. surely these are well over priced?

thing is, they are 2 strokes, less chance of massive rebuild bill, and probably becoming sought after.

hondas 2 strokes sell for far to much money if you ask me but as they are no longer made and are supposed to be good bikes thats why they fetch good money

I've got a yzf250 08 i'd be dissapointed if I did'nt draw 2450 for it, but mines not standard. At the end of the day its only worth what people are prepared to pay, so mine would stay in the workshop.
