notice yourselves getting quick on a mx bike (clearing jumps, blasting berms n shit etc...?

I started quite late myself (last year properly at 18, before I had just gone every now and again) and have obviously improved but I don't feel quick (still learning to jump etc...) I struggle to go every weekend due to being at uni and trying to get money together (need a job for summer :shifty:

) and having breaks e.g. when we had bikes stolen.

obviously everyone can improve, but you lot know what I'm on about.

i came back in 06 after a giving up in 92 to play footy for 14 years and i was only an amca junior then, i went form jun to expert in 1 season that year so i would say end of 06 :thumbup:

I will have to earn some dosh and go every week during summer :mrgreen:

then maybe by Sept I will be throwing sick whips

not taleneted mate if u see some of the british/pro riders close up now thats fookin taleneted, i supsose i can lap wizzy quite easy but that dont make me talented either it just means i use 2nd and 3rd gear :thumbup:

I would'nt bother too much about how fast you go arun, concentrate on good form and above all enjoy it. You speed will come in good time.
Personally i've been riding off road for over 30yrs, and i'll admit i'm still shit at it. I'm not concerned with my speed, because i know i can go faster, i just go to enjoy myself.
